In Türkiye, the laboratories of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the laboratories authorized by the Ministry use the validated methods of the European Union Reference Laboratory for GM Food and Feed (EURL-GMFF) for both qualitative (event/type identification) and quantitative GMO analyses. (https://gmo-crl.jrc.ec.europa.eu/gmomethods/)
The National Food Reference Laboratory (NFRL) also uses technical guidance documents of the European Network of GMO Laboratories (ENGL), of which Türkiye has been a member since 2010, particularly for advanced molecular techniques such as digital polymerase chain reaction (dPCR) and next-generation sequencing (NGS).
